Das Energieproblem haben wir gel\u00f6st, auch ohne den Platz zum Tanken zu verlassen. Ein Anruf verschafft uns ein neues Ziel. All das und eine tolle Radrundfahrt in diesem Teil der Reise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a86d8fed3b4f43ff536ab77cc75cd44d\" id=\"A1\">1. Noch ein bisschen mehr<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Sonntag, der 26. Januar sollte Abfahrt sein. Doch wohin? Schon im letzten Bericht hatte ich angedeutet, dass wir eigentlich auch endlich einmal bis Gibraltar und Tarifa, dem s\u00fcdlichsten Punkt Europas fahren wollten, aber nicht uns nicht schl\u00fcssig waren, ob dieser Umweg sinnvoll sei. Die beiden befinden sich gerade nordwestlich von Gibraltar in der N\u00e4he von C\u00e1diz und planen kommenden Freitag in Gibraltar einzulaufen. Schnell ist ein Entschluss gefasst: Wir treffen uns da! Manchmal braucht es eben nur so einen kleinen Ansto\u00df f\u00fcr eine Entscheidung. Also verl\u00e4ngern wir noch einmal um 5 Tage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doch wir hatten auch noch ein kleines Problem. Unser Gasbestand neigt sich dem Ende entgegen. Auch mit sehr sparsamem Verbrauch (nur noch elektrisch Kochen, keine Pizza in den Backofen), ist die Tankflasche am Samstag morgen leer. Das passende Adapter hatten wir ja bereits einem Laika-Fahrer in Bugneville abgekauft (Teil 1 der Reise).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eigentlich soll das ein Problem sein. Etwas Regen, nicht der Rede wert, aber bedeckter Himmel und kr\u00e4ftiger Wind. Die Brandung am Ufer nimmt nat\u00fcrlich kr\u00e4ftig zu, das Lied der Wellen h\u00f6rt man dann auch nachts ein wenig. Irgendwann erscheint ein Regenbogen und die Sonne ist wieder da. Wiedersehen mit einem alten Bekannten<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Ganz in der N\u00e4he gibt es eine Kartbahn. Alte Erinnerungen werden wach, dazu der Wunsch, wieder einmal ein paar Runden zu drehen. Doch macht mein R\u00fccken das mit? Seit einigen Wochen bereits, besser gesagt seit ungef\u00e4hr Mitte Dezember, macht mir das Kreuz und der Ischias zu schaffen. Und das ist in den letzten Tagen schlimmer geworden. Manchmal, fr\u00fch morgens zum Beispiel, kann ich kaum auftreten. Mit viel Willen k\u00e4me ich ja vielleicht noch hinein, aber ich sehe nirgens einen Kran, der mich auch wieder herausheben k\u00f6nnte. So schaue ich einfach denen zu, die sich ein paar Runden g\u00f6nnen. Es gibt normale Karts f\u00fcr die Gro\u00dfen, es gibt aber auch kleine Karts f\u00fcr die 6-12-j\u00e4hrigen und es gibt Doppelkarts mt zwei Lenkr\u00e4dern, damit Papa den ganz kleinen Spr\u00f6\u00dfling herumfahren kann. Ein alter amerikanischer Ford, ein Porsche 914 aus den 80ern in orange, ein Subaru (nat\u00fcrlich in blau), ein Citroen GS und? Ja was ist das denn? Da steht doch tats\u00e4chlich eine A110, eine Renault-Alpine also, so wie sie dasteht m\u00fcsste es eine 1300er sein. Aber das ist nicht alles. Sie ist rot!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ich habe nur einmal eine rote A110 1300 gesehen, und das ist nun \u00fcber 50 Jahre her. Im Sommer 1974. Damals durfte ich die in K\u00f6ln \u00fcber die Bonner Stra\u00dfe zur A555 fahren. Wie w\u00e4r&#8217;s?&#8220; Das habe ich mir damals nicht zweimal sagen lassen. Meinen ersten Versuch, einzusteigen musste ich abbrechen, der ging schief. Gesagt getan, ein bisschen Spa\u00df muss sein. Auch erinnere ich mich sehr gut an die Stra\u00dfenlage. Ein Spurwechsel war kein &#8218;r\u00fcberfahren. Nein das war im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes ein &#8218;R\u00fcberh\u00fcpfen oder Springen, ganz ohne Verz\u00f6gerung, einfach Zack-Zack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Und da steht sie jetzt, in rot, ich glaube eine der seltensten Farben, in der eine A110 verkauft wurde. Und warum m\u00fcsste es eine 1300er sein und keine 1600er?. Ganz einfach, der Heckmotor hat oben auf den hinteren Kotfl\u00fcgeln Lufteinl\u00e4sse. Nur die 1600er hat am hinteren Ende der Einl\u00e4sse nach vorne offene kleine Lufthutzen f\u00fcr besseres Durchatmen. Vorbei an Malaga, geht es bei Torremolinos an eine Shell-Tankstelle, die ich mir bereits vor einigen Tagen ausgesucht hatte. Weiter entlang der K\u00fcstenstra\u00dfe \u00fcber Marbella bis nach La Linea, der Stadt vor der englischen Grenze von Gibraltar. Wir waren kurz nach 10 Uhr losgefahren und versuchen mittags auf dem gro\u00dfen Stellplatz anzukommen. Hundert Fahrzeuge passen garantiert hierher, eher zweihundert, kleine, gro\u00dfe und ganz gro\u00dfe. Unsere Freunde stehen oben bei den gr\u00f6\u00dferen mit Anh\u00e4nger, wir k\u00f6nnen uns tats\u00e4chlich noch einen Platz in der ersten Reihe mit direktem Blick auf die Schiffe aussuchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Um zum Felsen von Gibraltar zu kommen und damit den freien Blick auf die Meeresenge und den afrikanischen Kontinent zu bekommen, muss man eine Grenze, ja sogar \u00fcber eine europ\u00e4ische Au\u00dfengrenze \u00fcberschreiten. Denn Gibraltar liegt in England. Gibraltar &#8211; einmal um den Felsen<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Es ist Samstag und wir beschlie\u00dfen, nicht vor dem Felsen von Gibraltar zu verweilen, ohne ihn auch einmal von der anderen Seite zu betrachten. Nur so hat man auch den freien Blick auf den schwarzen Kontinent, aber dazu m\u00fcssen wir den Felsen einmal umrunden. Die Fahrr\u00e4der \u2018raus, Charly \u2018rein und los geht\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Grenz\u00fcbergang ist nicht weit, Zweimal die P\u00e4sse vorgezeigt, und schon haben wir die europ\u00e4ische Au\u00dfengrenze nach England \u00fcberschritten. Gleich dahinter liegt die Start- und Landebahn des Flughafens, und auch die m\u00fcssen wir jetzt \u00fcberqueren. Das befindet sich direkt am Felsen, und die eigentliche Stra\u00dfe Richtung S\u00fcdspitze f\u00fchrt eine Etage h\u00f6her. Uns gibt zwar ein netter Hafenarbeiter den Tipp, in einen kleinen Tunnel zu gehen und dort einen Lift zu benutzen. Der funktioniert aber nicht, einen anderen finden wir nicht, und so fahren wir wieder ein St\u00fcck zur\u00fcck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dort wird der Weg jetzt immer schmaler, f\u00fchrt durch enge Ecken, wird jetzt einspurig und dann auch f\u00fcr gr\u00f6\u00dfere Fahrzeuge wie Busse gesperrt, schlie\u00dflich folgen zwei kleine sehr enge Tunnel. Hier k\u00f6nnen nicht einmal Radfahrer \u00fcberholt werden, daf\u00fcr haben Fu\u00dfg\u00e4nger Vorrang. Der wenige Verkehr l\u00e4uft aber sehr ruhig, diszipliniert und entspannt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dann sind wir an der S\u00fcdspitze von Gibraltar. Etwas Wind ist aufgekommen, aber die Sicht ist beeindruckend klar. Wir haben einen grandiosen Blick in die Stra\u00dfe von Gibraltar. An der Uni findet gerade ein Mannschaftsspiel statt, irgendetwas au\u00dfer Fu\u00dfball, aber mit kr\u00e4ftigen Lautsprecheransagen. Es scheint gerade eine ablaufende Str\u00f6mung in Richtung Atlantik. Diese Stra\u00dfe ist in beiden Richtungen befahrbar, einmal geht es sehr steil bergauf, oben in einen langen Tunnel, der l\u00e4uft entsprechend steil wieder bergab, und dann sind wir auch bald wieder an der Grenze. Hier f\u00fchrt ein Tunnel nur f\u00fcr Fu\u00dfg\u00e4nger und Radfahrer unter der Landebahn hindurch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jetzt noch kurz durch die Innenstadt von La Linea. Wir finden uns in einer Fu\u00dfg\u00e4ngerzone wieder. Es gibt zahllose Restaurants, an jeder Ecke riecht es anders, aber \u00fcberall lecker. Wir kaufen jetzt nur ein Brot in einer B\u00e4ckerei\/Konditorei, essen wollen wir hier auf jeden Fall morgen irgendwo. Am Montag geht es dann weiter zum s\u00fcdlichsten Ort Europas, nach Tarifa, bevor wie dann Portugal ansteuern.
