Auf dem ersten Stell-\/Campingplatz bleiben wir gleich doppelt so lange wie zun\u00e4chst gedacht. Die Planung f\u00fcr den Rest der Reise nimmt Gestalt an. Wenn wir Ende M\u00e4rz wieder in Deutschland sein wollen, und es noch so viel zu sehen gibt, braucht das ein wenig Organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doch hier zun\u00e4chst ein kurzes Video vom Grenz\u00fcbertritt nach Portugal, denn die \u00dcberfahrt ist etwas besonderes, werden so nicht viele kennen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls poster=\"http:\/\/unterwegs.wersa.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Grenze-Portugal-3.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wersa.de\/seivom\/Reisen\/Grenze Portugal-HD1.MP4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Auch Portugal werden immer mehr Autobahnen geb\u00fchrenfrei. Wir vermissen hier auf der A22 in Richtung Faro direkt die entsprechenden Hinweise und auf Nachfragen wird uns das auch best\u00e4tigt. Wo aber jetzt noch bezahlt werden muss und wo nicht, das ist uns aber erst einmal noch nicht klar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4dc864101e6a29aa567170f95cdd6898\" id=\"A1\">1. Das Buch mit den Reiseberichten in Portugal von Silvia Baumann ist immer noch unser treuer Begleiter, und bei ihr steht dieser Platz unter den Top-5. Der B\u00e4cker kommt nur Dienstags und Donnerstags auf den Platz, heute ist er also schon weg. Der n\u00e4chste Supermarkt ist drei Kilometer weit weg und die Stra\u00dfe dorthin geht \u00fcber den letzten Kilometer 12% bergab. Sie hat in Lissabon Sprachen studiert und der Campingplatz ist ihr Trainingsraum. Vor f\u00fcnf Jahren haben Paula und Norberto diesen Platz ins Leben gerufen, betreiben ihn zusammen mit ihrer Tochter. Wenn man sich wohlf\u00fchlt, braucht man auch die n\u00f6tige Ruhe, das auszuhalten. Die haben wir! Am Sonntag ist unser 100-ter Reisetag, und den machen wir gleich auch zum Waschtag. Der war urspr\u00fcnglich f\u00fcr den Geburtstag gedacht, aber da hatten wir uns ja spontan f\u00fcr Sherry aus Jerez entschieden. So k\u00f6nnen wir diesen Sekt heute genie\u00dfen. Das Besondere: Es ist ein Sekt mit Hopfenanteilen. Als sich dann am Dienstag der B\u00e4cker auf dem Platz mit Hupen bemerkbar macht, haben wir dann leider keinen akuten Bedarf. Warum kommt der denn nicht montags?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In der Stadt gibt es einen zentralen Platz, nichts besonderes, einige kleine Restaurants, nat\u00fcrlich eine sch\u00f6ne Kirche und, erstaunlich, viele Immobiliengesch\u00e4fte. Das w\u00e4r doch auch einmal eine Idee: Wenn wir in Deutschland kein kleineres bezahlbares Haus finden, den Spie\u00df einfach umdrehen. Alle Tage wochenweise bis Mitte M\u00e4rz. Dann sollten wir sp\u00e4testens wieder in Frankreich sein. Dann schreiben wir spontan die Orte auf, wo wir noch Station machen wollen. Spontan fallen uns mindestens sieben ein. Da wir hier in S\u00e3o Br\u00e1s aber bereits aufs Doppelte ausgedehnt haben, fallen die Str\u00e4nde von Falesia und damit Albufeira schon &#8218;mal weg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rechnen wir f\u00fcr den Rest im Schnitt 2-3 Tage, sind das bereits drei Wochen. Diesmal wollen wir aber schon auf halber H\u00f6he zur\u00fcck nach Spanien und dort dann mitten durch Land. Der n\u00e4chste Schritt soll demnach Arma\u00e7ao de Pera werden. Ein Anruf dort sagt uns, es sei ziemlich voll. Erst am Anreisetag k\u00f6nnen wir telefonisch kl\u00e4ren, ob wir unterkommen. Mikki&#8217;s Place to Stop in P\u00eara<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Am Mittwoch rufen wir erneut im \u201aAlgarve Camper Parc\u2018 an, doch mit dem gleichen Ergebnis, leider. Ein weiterer Platz, laut Beschreibung sehr sch\u00f6n, der \u201aParque da Gale\u2018 kurz vor Arma\u00e7ao ist voll belegt, so landen wir auf \u201aMikki\u2019s Place to Stay\u2018 in der N\u00e4he von P\u00eara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mikki&#8217;s Place ist ein Campingplatz, ein riesiges Areal, wohl im Laufe der Jahr(zehnt)e historisch gewachsen, die Parzellen teils im Wald, teils offen am Feld und zum Teil auch sehr versteckt. Das ganze sehr verwinkelt, zun\u00e4chst kaum durchschaubar, wo es \u00fcberall noch weitergeht, und offenbar sehr beliebt. Unser Platz liegt etwas versteckter unter B\u00e4umen. Das erlaubt uns nur bedingtes Sonnentanken. Ganze 60\u00b0 Unterschied? In der N\u00e4he hatte ich keine aufgestellte Sch\u00fcsseln ausmachen k\u00f6nnen und mich so bei der Platzsuche nach dem Sonnenstand orientiert. Jetzt noch umparken? Nein, keine Lust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Am Abend nutzen wir dann die Gelegenheit und besuchen das Restaurant. Es gibt zwei gro\u00dfe Innenr\u00e4ume und einen Au\u00dfenbereich, es ist gut besucht und alle sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen kommt recht schnell an den Tisch, im Nebenraum wird mittwochs Bingo gespielt. Was eigentlich ist Bingo? Wir schauen uns an und wissen es beide nicht, haben es noch nie gespielt. Doch wohin? Noch runter an die K\u00fcste nach Arma\u00e7ao, oder nach Silves? Da m\u00f6chte Susanne unbedingt hin. Ich bin auch nicht abgeneigt, und Silves liegt nur noch ca. 20km entfernt. Jetzt haben wir ein Dilemma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Denn mit Silves entfernen wir uns immer weiter vom Meer, aber wir wollen unbedingt noch an die S\u00fcdk\u00fcste der Algarve. Silves<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Nach Silves ist es nicht weit, ganze 16 Kilometer. Silves ist ein sehenswerter und beliebter Ort. Es gibt einen Innenstadtbereich mit vielen Restaurants, die klassischen portugiesischen H\u00e4hnchenbratereien, Andenkengesch\u00e4ften und gleich mehrere Womo-Stellp\u00e4tze. Drau\u00dfen gibt es einen gro\u00dfen Parkplatzbereich, auf dem auch ca. 30 Fahrzeuge, vom Bulli bis zum Liner, frei stehen. Der Eintritt kostet f\u00fcr Menschen ab 65 die H\u00e4lfte und kann kombiniert werden mit einem arch\u00e4ologischen Museum. Vor zwei Wochen soll es auch das Naranja-Fest gegeben haben und in der Tat, auf der Herfahrt sind wir schon durch viele Orangenplantagen gekommen. Die St\u00f6rche haben offenbar derzeit ihre Bauphase. St\u00e4ndig fliegen sie dicht \u00fcber unseren K\u00f6pfen mit Nistmaterial im Schnabel hin  und her, und aus den Nestern h\u00f6rt man viel Geklapper. Sogar ein Storchen-Hochhaus haben wir entdeckt!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir haben erst einmal f\u00fcr zwei Tage gebucht, k\u00f6nnen aber jederzeit beliebig verl\u00e4ngern. Ich denke, wir werden also wieder mindestens verdoppeln, denn es ist eine sch\u00f6ne Stadt, die bekannten Discounter und, ganz wichtig, ein Continente-Supermarkt gleich nebenan und wir haben einen sehr sch\u00f6nen, komplett ruhigen Stellplatz bekommen. Wir \u00fcberlegen, die W\u00e4rme hier im S\u00fcden noch ein wenig l\u00e4nger zu genie\u00dfen und dann z\u00fcgiger durch den Norden zu fahren. Ca. f\u00fcnf Wochen bleiben uns ja auf jeden Fall noch.
